Artist’s Statement…

Although I’ve been photographing for many years there is a whole lot more I want to learn, know, understand and create. I have said over the years, that if I had my time over again, I’d have done a fine arts degree. What was stopping me? Life, work, and a long list of “things” I do.

After a conversation with two special people I applied and was accepted into the Fine Arts programme at Canterbury University, to start in February 2017. Four years, full time.

I like a less is more approach to my work, but my desk fights with that thought sometimes.

My professional photography has been mostly food and architecture, which I love. I live in Christchurch, with my husband. We have one grown up daughter.
