Ferg Campbell
Ferg was introduced to photography at a young age through a teacher at his intermediate school. The interest lingered but it wasn’t until many, many years later that he and Carol took a trip to the UK that the interest took wings and flew.
That was 6 years ago and the interest continues to this day…. He lives with his wife Carol and two dogs, Baxter and Jess.
Artist’s Statement…
I’m often reminded of the words of the great bard, Robbie Burns, from his poem ‘To a Louse’
O wad some Pow’r the giftie gie us
To see oursels as others see us!
I take the challenge, through the medium of photography, to try to show the World as I see it. Slightly differing from the words of Burns but none the less following the same ideology. As an artist I feel that it is my responsibility to insert as much of myself into each image as I possibly can. I feel strongly that photography is far more than pretty pictures but an outlet for all our creative and strongly opinionated thoughts. For this I feel no need to apologise.
