They were wonderful – colours that sat gently with me and belied their spiny prickly form. Gentle, and not so.

Time to make pictures when I was struggling to pick up the camera. These did it.

  2. All of the images in this series were wonderful.

    But this one is my favourite. It has an “otherworldly” feel to it that I find fascinating.

    Im delighted that you have found that somewhere so easy to go to as your garden has produced such satisfying images.

    Why is it that we have to so often force ourselves to just pick up a camera and go outside when we know that what we will find it just what we need?

    • I agree totally Ian; and when we go outside into the garden or even for a walk along the river bank – we get lost in the enjoyment of it all! I am pleased your muse has returned,Jen
