  3. No no no – this image has to be in color. Black and white is way to clinical and steals the joy of the days first color.

  5. Amazing Scott! I really love this. The feathery texture and detail has a feeling of the colonial painters about it, and there is a feeling of yin and yang with the balance and form of the black and white. I’m not sure I relate the title “First Light” to the dawning of a new day, but to Tane prising apart Papatuanuku and Ranginui and the dawning of the first light of creation.
