One of the advantages of gallivanting around the world is that occasionally you end up at the right place on the right day.
I was in Perth on the 4th day of the recent cricket test. This apparently is the last test at the WACA as they are building a fancy new stadium just over the river.
So I spent the best part of the day in 37deg heat, in a stand full of Aussie fans while Ross Taylor got agonisingly close to 300 runs.
I felt privileged to be there, somewhat nostalgic about the place and very hot. Those thoughts are the basis of this image.
