A moment to resettle, and refocus after a month of world-turned-upside-down. I just wanted to lose myself in the camera without going far, and decided to do some exercises with natural light and document some of the family “objects” with the idea of making some large prints. I liked the idea of them existing just in space, devoid of context.

  1. It’s good to do ‘simple’ to just get lost in it. Sometimes I think I have a great idea, but it’s so complicated that it just causes me stress! Nevertheless, you’ve come up with a lovely image. 🙂

  2. The simplicity of this just grabs me. And then I pause for a while to consider all of the cups of tea that have been made with this, and of course all the conversations that followed.
