I’ve recently got some fantastic news in regards to an idea I’ve had floating around in my head for ages and ages.
Its both exciting and terrifying at the same time in equal measures actually which is great. Now the work really starts. I got final confirmation as we were travelling down the Braemar Rd near Twizel. If you know where it is you know just how surprised I was that I could get a text message there but who was to know.

We then came round the corner to see this… spoke to me….actually that’s not entirely true, it HOLLERED OUT to me.

The path that I’m on is well defined but I’m sure there’s turbulence ahead but the light at the end of the tunnel shines brightest.

  1. The thought which immediately came into my mind when I saw your image and read your words, Ferg, was “Kia Kaha”. Go for it, Ferg, whatever “it” is. And do share your excitement some time . . .

  2. Go for it, a wonderful saying I have been sharing ,

On the plains of hesitation bleached,
    the bones of millions,
who at the dawn of victory,
    waited and in waiting,

Good luck & stay true to yourself.

  3. Ferg, you have my attention – photographically and personally.
I like the direction you are going with your images but I will have to wait for the rest of the news.

  4. Ferg, sounds intriguing. Best of luck on whatever it is.
I do know this road and it leads to one of the most beautiful places in the world. That’ s a good journey to be on.

  5. Great news – I’m sure that the sun will be shining when you get there.

And Id like an invitation to the opening please!!

  6. I too am intrigued and would also love an invite to the opening! Good luck with whatever you are up to Ferg. New beginnings are full of hope, and other things! Great image too!

  7. I love good news! And the excitement of new direction. And I love your hand on the landscape. You have a way of significant impact that is gentling and very pleasing to view.

  8. WOW! Your image packs such a punch, Ferg, as will you! Can’t wait to hear what it is you’re up to!
