Nature just knows how to do it, the graceful simplicity of a ponga high above the bush, the sun just peeking through. What a way to start the day.

  1. You already know I love this! The delicacy is a trademark of your touch. Welcome as our new Artist in Residence, and thank you for sharing.

  2. Congratulations Meg on another great image! looks fantastic on the ipad! back lit!

  3. Gentle and delicate and lace were the thoughts which came to my mind. Beautiful, Meg

  4. What a way to start the day indeed.
Simple, strong, yet delicate … and I love the couple of wayward fronds at the top – they just make it.

  5. Beautiful Meg. So delicate and I love that you have got rid of the colour to enable us to focus on the delicacy of the tree fern …. and those fronds climbing to the sky …. Thank you for sharing with us.

  6. Thanks everyone for your words, I am honoured to be asked to be a guest of your very talented group.
I love reading your comments and thoughts about all the images posted on aGathering, something I struggle with, but will keep at it!!!

  7. I really enjoyed the little sunburst which repeats the pattern of the tree fronds. Everyone says delicate and I agree completely

  8. I love to see people doing the things we are familiar with in a whole new way. The Pongas are usually deep in a dark forest and very beautiful that way but this has given them their softer and delicate side, well seem and done.
