I love the way photography exposes what is going on inside our heads.  I turn 50 next year and all our children have left home so our primary focus changes from family to other things.  What other things? All I know is that once I get to the other side of 50 it better be damn good.  This image depicts my view from here, good bones but, “hell”, it’s not clear.  Watch this space.

  1. Through a glass darkly.

  2. What opportunity! A clear horizon, plenty of depth and texture in the foreground. I bit of damage to the view by life’s scratches but that just makes it more beautiful. And the old eyes are not as sharp as they used to be. But that just makes the understanding clearer.

  3. I love that I never know what to expect next from you 🙂 My first thought was looking at a scene, the world from up high, and out into the Universe, with a view of tiny city lights in the distance. If the horizon was curved I would be feeling as if I was viewing from outside the planet. May your outlook become ever more expansive in the years to come!
