Coat of many colours

I could not have created a more beautiful finish to a wall if I had tried to!  And it’s 100% original.  This Italian wall carries a coat of many colours, and an earring to set it off.

In fact, I can’t help but look at it and see the grey area as the half of a sheep’s face (looking straight at me) with the ring as its eye and the colourful wall as its fluffy fleece.  Do you see something else in the patterns?

  1. For me Vicky, it is the colours and the tension between the hard and soft – hard geometric aspect of the metal ring and the soft randomness of the old paint.

  2. Whatever the history of this place is it has been exciting.
Yellow, blue, orange, red all are colours that jump out at me.
No sign of “off white” or grey here…

  3. Isn’t it great when things are allowed to age.
