This image is what I have been trying to achieve for sometime & I found it at a wedding I was photographing, the flower girl.

You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”

  1. Scott, its a fantastic portrait. Soft, gentle, sharp, all at the same time. Eyes are stunningly engaging, and so much detail in them too. Love it.

  2. Thanks Bruce, I challenge myself to produce emotive B&W images, I believe I have achieved this here!

  3. Stunning Scott. I the viewer have such a connection with the subject not because I know her (because I do not) but because of how you have presented her to me in the image.

  4. I love it Scott – there is a timeless feeling in the image and you have certainly produced an “emotive B&W image” to be proud of

  5. Excellent portrait. Don’t see many of this quality. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I love it… it has a beautiful “period” feel to it, stunning
