The Harbour at Dawn

This was the view I found on another unsuccessful trip to photograph a tree that I had spotted.

The sunrise very briefly produced a blaze of pink some time after I made this image.
However the photographs I made of the bright pink sky were too much and resulted in “just another sunrise” pictures. Less is more most of the time.

I like this one and it reinforces that it is always important to get out with a camera and not at all important that you achieve the specific objective you set out looking for.

  2. I’m getting annoyed at the overly worked clouds and the texturising that we can apply to images
