Hugging trees has a calming effect on me. I'm talking about enormous trees that will be there when we are all dead and gone. I've hugged trees in every part of this little island.
Gerry Adams has a point about trees having a calming effect on us. Have you ever spent time, not just a few minutes, but real time in the forest just sitting and thinking, listening, hearing the stories that the trees have to tell us? I guess not many have but you should. Im sure after an hour alone in the forest you will have a different feeling towards the trees………
Trees are strong and are staunch in their outlook.
We rely on them so much for our mere survival.
They ask nothing in return.
Why is it that we take them so much for granted?
